The Los Sarapes family of restaurants was born from the entrepreneurial spirit of Carlos and Olga Marin in 1992 after they bought a pizza shop in Chalfont and ran it with their children and spouses. When they introduced some of their family favorite dishes from their native Mexico, customers were delighted!
Our name, LOS SARAPES , is metaphoric- a sarape is a blanket that warms you- we want your experience dining with us to taste delicious and service that is warm and welcoming as well!
The family business grew in 2000 when son Luis and his wife Marion opened EL SARAPE in Bluebell. Keeping the traditional delicious authentic Mexican dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients!
The family business sprouted again in 2002 in Salem, MA when son Juan Carlos’ wife Esther opened Cilantro with their family.
The family business grew again in 2005 when son Mauricio and his wife Amy along with daughter Karina’s husband Alfonso opened Los Sarapes Horsham at the original small location.
Now at the present location owners; Luis, Mauricio and Alfonso bring you the same traditional food in a large venue having 2 outside covered patios and a large bar inside.
